i need a unsecured credit card to help buil my credit but i do not have a checking or savings account
Answer:
If you have no credit or very bad credit, you have no other option than applying for a secured credit card. In this case you will need to establish a bank account, so that you will have collateral for your credit card. If you have already started your credit, you can apply for an unsecured credit card which requires no collateral, that is, no bank account. Such credit card offers are mostly presented by First Premier bank, Orhcard bank or Capital One - banks that focus on customers with poor and limited credit history. Compare these credit cards and determine which of them will be better for your needs.

i recived a pre approved card offer in the mail and it directed me to your site but I cannot find the card .Its a platinum mastercard I belive from hsbc
Answer:
Well, you seem not to be sure about what credit card you have been approved for :-) Anyway, look at HSBC credit card offers one more time, maybe, you'll find this credit card. Generally, if you are preapproved and receive a letter saying that, it should also contain the certain addresses where you can go to accept and activate this credit card, and also it should inform you for how long this credit card offer is valid. Maybe, you can't find the credit card you were pre-approved for because the term of this credit offer has already expired. And, if any question arise, call the bank using the numbers given in the pre-approval letter.

Can you get balance transfer cards with bad credit
Answer:
If you want to get a balance transfer credit card, you should have good or excellent credit, according to terms&conditions of this type of credit cards. The matter is that the bank gives you an opportunity to remove the balance from higher-interest credit card onto a more profitable card, and it should cover the high risks such transaction presents. So, if your credit is bad, you are not so reliable as a customer with good credit, so the bank can't let you use such a high-risk credit card offer. The only thing you can do is to work on your credit to accumulate enough score to be eligible for a balance transfer credit card.

I am trying to rebuild my credit. I have had horrible credit in the past. I have paid off serveral items that was on my credit report. I have also opened an account with premier bank. (credit card, very low limit). I have been making small purchases on the card and paying it down by the due date each month. Paying it down meaning I get the balance back down to around $20 - $40. I am being told by someone that I may need to open another card and keep that card active and paid also in order to build my credit up. Along with paying my other bills ontime.

Please advise. If this is the case I would like to get one of the regular credit cards not the bad credit cards but I have not applied because I am scared I will be denied and this will drop my credit score even lower.
Answer:
To increase your credit rating you need to apply for credit cards regularly, holding several of them concurrently. Besides, it is a matter of utter importance to pay them off on time making more than minimum payments every time. If you want to get a new credit card, you should check up your credit report, update it if needed, and remove all the incorrect items from it, if they happen to be there. Afetr that you should look through the credit card offers according to your credit history and score, and choose the one that fits you best of all. You should be scared to get denial, as it is impossible if you apply for a credit card you are eligible for.

I have received a credit card that I never applied for. I already have an applied card bank card. What do I do?
Answer:
If you received a credit card you hadn't applied for, it could be because of several reasons. It can be a mistake made by the bank, a case of unsuccessful identity theft, or a mistake of mailing service. If the credit card is in your name, this can point at the first two reasons, if it is in another name, you have less reasons to worry, but it still should cause suspicion. You should immediately call the bank issuer of the credit card you received and report of it.

I want to transfer a balance of £4.500 from my present Master Card to one that will give me o% interest rate over the maximum time and will give me a low rate of interest on any other transaction's
Answer:
If you are interested in balance transfer credit cards, you can look them through and compare the terms&conditions at our site. But you should mind it that balance transfer credit cards require good and excellent credit history. Besides, if you look at the terms&conditions, you will see that the amount allowed to be transferred and the percentage rate that you'll have to pay for it, as well as other charges and fees, wholly depend on your credit score. Plus, it is the bank that determines these items after considering you credit score and history. So, check your credit report and make sure you are eligible for the credit card you want to receive.

What criteria do you have for marking the first credit card on the list as "our choice"? Do you have hard reasons or do you have a deal with that company? Thank you.
Answer:
Our specialists constantly monitor credit card market and analyze customers' preferences. So, when we collect credit card offers for sections, we choose one credit card which is the most popular among the customers. Thus we make a rating, placing the most popular credit card applications closer to the top of the list. So, we try to attract our customers' attention to the credit cards that have already gained recognition among others.
We do not agree on the marked credit cards with the banks issuing them.

Where can i get either a credit card or Debit card at age 16?
Answer:
Unfortunately, we don’t offer credit cards for 16-year-olds. But if it’s so important for you to have a credit card, you can do the following. If your parents or some of the relatives possess a credit card, one of them can order an additional credit card for you. He should turn to a bureau for the credit report to find out what card he is eligible for. Then he, may be together with you, can look through online credit card applications , presented at our site and choose the best one available. First it is advisable to read terms and conditions of the cards you are interested in to determine the options which you find more attractive and want to take advantage of. When approved, your parent or relative will be the cardholder, but you’ll be able to use the credit limit.

I have 4 credit cards non of which have the best interest rate. The only one with added benefits is my Walmart Discover card which pays cash back. Is it worth keeping these credit cards with interest rates ranging from 12.9%-30%. Keep in mind I have a zero balance on all of them
Answer:
If you want to get rid of your credit cards, having high rates and no rewards, make sure you do it properly and that no harm is done to your credit report. The first important rule is to cancel the card only after you have paid off the balance in full. In case you`ve paid off your credit cards balance you need to cancel the account. First of all, notify your card issuer by phone, printed on the card back, that your balance is zero and you want to cancel your card. A card company representative will try to persuade you to keep the card open and may offer you some perks. If you`re not convinced to keep the card, go ahead with your cancellation procedure. Write a letter to credit card issuer, which says you`re closing your account and want your credit record to reflect the fact that you requested the account to be closed. Send it by certified mail to escape any misfortunes. Check your credit report in about a month to make sure there are no mistakes in it and contact credit card company customer-service department in case you find any. Follow this procedure if you want you credit history to be safe and apply online for credit card again if you decide to get a new credit card for your spendings.
