IshDate: January 10, 2007, 12:01 am about how long will it take to before credit score will start to move up if the credit card bill is paid on time and not over the limit or any other issue like that?
Answer:
The period during which your credit information is updated depends on the bank issuer of your credit card and the way it reports to consumer reporting agencies. Some banks (especially those providing credit cards for limited credit) are in the habit of reporting to all credit bureaus each month, just as you make your monthly payments for the card. Others are not so accurate in making reports, so you have to wait until your report is updated or ask the bank to make the report. So, usually, your credit rating should start to grow the next month - with your first payment, but you are strongly recommended to contact the bank and ask about it, so that you will be able to estimate the state of things.

ELLIEDate: January 10, 2007, 3:59 am i have bad credit and i have 3 credit cards and i want to transfer them into one card how does it work and what card would be best for me?
Answer:
If your credit score is bad, your primary task is to repair it. To transfer your credit cards? debt into one credit card, you should apply for one of balance transfer credit cards. Frankly speaking, American banks do not issue balance transfer cards for people with bad credit score. The exception is one of bad credit secured credit cards, namely, New Millennium Platinum Visa or Platinum MasterCard with the benefits of Platinum status: emergency cash transfers, free $150,000 accident insurance, free auto rental insurance, and free extended warranty protection. If your credit is close to fair, you can also try one of Capital One credit cards with balance transfer option, for instance, Capital One Platinum credit card, intended for people with limited credit.

kulwinder chhinaDate: January 24, 2007, 3:51 am I am immigrant in canada. I have secured visa card.I never missuse that card but now when I want to increase the visa limit they demand for credit from credit beurau. now I came to know that I have no credit .can i apply for a new card.
Answer:
Unfirtunately, we do not provide Canadian credit card offers for customers with poor credit history. All the banks that deal with foreign residents require a good or excellent credit history. So you should improve your credit history before that and this process sometimes takes years. You can browse in the Internet and find some other credit card offers to reestablish credit history. Be cautious as too many inquiries are injurious for your credit report.
Be sure you qualify, and we in turn are always happy to receive your Canadian credit card application. Apply online and get a credit card! Find your low interest credit card offers! Best, Manager of Immediate Credit Card Care Service User Name:
RubyDate: January 26, 2007, 3:58 am My credit score was 662 a year ago this June, now it ranges between 529-555. I do not have any major credit cards, only department store cards (3). I am trying to build my credit, can you help?
Answer:
If earlier your credit history was fair to good, now according to our table of credit scores, it is poor. Store credit cards may be useful when they provide credit reports to major credit bureaus. However, when you apply online for such credit cards, your credit score loses 20 points. As for now, you can apply online for bad credit card offers. This may probably be a secured credit card or an unsecured credit card. A secured credit card will require putting an amount on to a bank account and the credit limit will depend on the amount. An unsecured credit card offers better rates and higher credit limits. Apply online at our website and get your portion of credit improvement!
